Vibrancy & Safety

Calgary is a great city - on the verge of becoming a world-class city. To do this, we must have:


- A safe, clean and easy-to-access downtown area

- Police and fire services that set the bar for quick response and emergency prevention

- 24-hour weekend LRT to encourage people to play downtown

- Expanded designated taxi stands downtown and at LRT stations to better improve public transportation

- Recreation, festivals, arts and cultural facilities that keep pace with our cities growth

Airport Tunnel

I was the first candidate for Mayor to talk about the importance of the Airport Tunnel with building a LRT to the Airport by 2015. It is an absolute necessity. These transportation improvements are essential to helping Calgary become a world-class city. Let me explain.
